Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions for BER and Technical Assessment Services

Commencement of Service
All BER (Building Energy Rating) assessments and Technical Assessment Reports will commence only after receipt of payment confirmation.

Site-Specific Proposals
Proposals for external wall and floor insulation, or other energy efficiency upgrades, are contingent upon site-specific assessments conducted by suppliers, engineers, or architects prior to construction.

Technical Reference Reports
Boiler and heat pump recommendations provided in the Technical Assessment Report are indicative only. Final sizing and specification must be confirmed by a specialized consultant or contractor.

Limitation of Liability
MTS DNC Energy Consultants and SEAI (Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland) accept no responsibility for any loss or damage arising from the BER assessment, Technical Assessment Report, or their results. Liability is limited to the service fee paid for the assessment.

Methodology and Assumptions
The BER assessment methodology incorporates standard occupancy assumptions and technical judgments regarding energy efficiency. Ratings are guides only; actual energy performance depends on occupant behaviour and building modifications over time.

SEAI Compliance and Access
Assessors have an ongoing responsibility to ensure the accuracy of BER certificates. SEAI or its agents may request access to the property for verification purposes. Failure to provide access may result in revocation of the BER Certificate.

Acknowledgment
By engaging MTS DNC Energy Consultants for BER or Technical Assessment services, you acknowledge and accept these terms and limitations.
